A writing workshop for fiction and non-fiction writers, focusing on themes that feel urgent to the writer, whether they be social, political, environmental or personal.

The workshop will be three hours long with a half an hour break. The first part of the workshop will be using writing prompts to help writers get started. The second half of the workshop will be to share the writing that has been produced during the workshop, and constructive criticism to help writers move forward with their writing.

Claire Hamburger, who will lead the workshop, is an established writer with an MA in Creative Writing and experience of running creative writing workshops and of teaching English. “I feel that writing is crucial in the age of AI and that writing from the heart is an urgent and pertinent exercise.”

When: 1.00pm – 4.00pm, Saturday 24th October.

Maximum 20 participants, first come, first served. The event will cost £5 per person.
